Hello and Welcome to Isaac Acres!
Isaac Acres represents country life in Rural Alberta, Canada.
We purchased our land over 17 plus years ago. The spot we call home was an original farm site of a generational farm family in the area. They had not used this site in many years so we had a lot of building and landscaping to work at. To this day we are still working on it. Good thing yard work and working with your hands is said to be good for the soul because we are always working on something it seems.
In the spirt of embracing farm life let’s talk about eggs. We are working on adding eggs to the basket so to speak.
This is just a little introduction of who we are and some of the projects we are working on out here.
We are hobby bee keepers. It all started out with Mark deciding to buy one hive. Then another and another and you all know how that goes….
Some years we are well up over 20 plus hives. He is self taught and our whole family have enjoyed learning about the complex systems of bee colonies. Also bees are great for pollination of our trees and plants. Our honey is mainly canola and clover honey as there are many fields of these crops close by that the bees quite enjoy. The honey is non pasteurized and completely organic. From the hive to the extractor to the table. Just like most things in farm life honey yields are very much dependent on Mother Nature. Some years our bees winter well and some years we’re rebuilding the colonies.
Another farm life hobby we are passionate about is our Ckc Registered Rottweiler breeding program. I have owned Rottweilers for well over 30 years now. I introduced Mark to the breed shortly after we got married. We are going on 20 years of marriage here so he has had them for almost as long as me. I guess easiest way to explain Rottweiler is if you get them you get them.
Fun fact
One thing I noticed is every rottweiler we have ever had has a fetish for socks!
If you are here on our site for info on getting a pup from us please stock up on socks when they are on sale at Costco prior to your puppies arrival. That was a little joke to make you smile, but at same time I’m very serious.
We have and are working on sourcing the very best European blood lines along with working with reputable breeders who also health test, committed and are heart sensitive to all involved
That being said we are very occasional breeders. It’s a passionate hobby only for us.
Since this is a revamp of the website for more info on Isaac Acres Rottweilers please clink the link on this page.
If you have additional questions or if we have no breedings planned reach out directly. I love chatting about Rottweilers and may know of a fellow breeder who I can help facilitate a dialogue with to source a pup in the time line that you are looking for.
I have been freelancing on occasion and collaborating with fellow business owners in relation to displays, seasonal decor, marketing strategies and corporate events. This is a fun aspect for me because I love to inspire, be inspired, creatively design and bring those ideas into fruition. I call this division of Isaac Acres
Aimee Isaac’s Let’s Break the Ice
I will have a link up with more details on how all that fits into Isaac Acres as the months follow.
Moving ahead in giving you all a taste of what’s to come. We are in the process of building a tree farm at this moment consisting of spruce trees as well we have planted many fruit trees that are maturing nicely.
So that’s a little bit about us!
Keep checking back as we add to the website.
Thanks for stopping by!
